Our Way Back to Earth and Each Other
In that exact moment you feel completely denuded. Your soul is totally exposed and you feel raw.
You can fell the energy shift, you are feeling it, it's exhilarating. You have this connection to the Earth, you are totally grounded.
Those moments are magic.
Your heart and soul are opened, it's like you've developed an 8th sense.
You notice things that before you would have stopped paying attention to or not realize it was happening.
It takes a release of all expectations you have towards the world and people. You need to be able to let go of judgment and really open your mind and soul to all possibilities to be able to get into this spiritual state of mind.
Your thoughts have to be put to the side, you have to quiet your mind. I am surely not a master of it yet, but I have those moments. Moments of pure connection with my surroundings.
Looking into a strangers eyes, who you are just passing by and in that moment you are able to understand their exact state of mind, to feel their current emotions and have a wave of compassion for them. To connect with their soul, and be able to show them by smiling back at them, that all is going to be alright.
Having the chance to see a little girl, who's scared to her core to take on the activity she has registered for. She touches your soul within a moment, because you've been in her shoes before. You've been scared and paralyzed by anxiety all through your core. Knowing that in that exact moment, your paths have crossed so you can teach her that all will be alright and this thing she's about to do, is not as bad as her mind is making her believe. In all but 30 seconds, you exchange a few words and help one another to get through the moment.
To be sitting on the beach, to watch the waves crash back and forth on the sand dunes, to see the sun set over the ocean, to hear the kids laugh from a distance. To look at the clouds over the clear blue sky and to feel joy totally overwhelm you for a moment because of the magnificent beauty your are a witness to.
You feel truly alive and connected to this world in those moments.
Our day to day pace pulls us away from those moments of true existence, it pulls away our sense of purpose and connectedness. Let's all try a little better, to come back to earth and each other, and regain just a little more humanity and clarity.
