K.I.S.S. A very humbling experience!
Funny it is, I forgot for a few weeks, to take care of myself. Instead of focusing on my own environment, I embarked on a journey to solve the world's problems, forgetting in the meantime about my own issues!
Oh yes, I admit, I have plenty of issues. Sometimes the best way to help people, is to be yourself, and improve your own life, and hopefully, along the way, you'll help them by inspiring them and giving them a little hope.
Very humbling I must say! Very humbling (is repeating my ego!! lol). (Ego, I hope you take the back seat for a while and let me be!)
When I compare myself with others, I loose sights of my own objectives, I loose sight of me. For a few weeks, I was feeling terrible about myself, because I wasn't being true to me! Of course, the little ME on my shoulder, reminded me that when I worry to much about others, I start worrying more about myself (and here goes the roller coster of thoughts!!!). Throwing my overachieving little self, into a series of nights with not enough sleep, not accomplishing what I would like to do and in the end, I find myself frustrated, and asking myself: "Why the HE** am I not having fun?"
Kinda ironic when I think about it.
So to keep it sweet and simple! Like a K.I.S.S lol here's my learnings of the last few weeks. Hopefully this time, I will take the time to APPLY what I have learned.
This blog is totally about me, laughing at myself! I hope you like it and make fun of me at the same time, because laughing my friend, is often the best remedy!!

- I work better when I take my time (why run somewhere, where you don't even know what your destination is! lol)
- I can't predict the future, so focus on today! (If someone finds a crystal ball, please let me know if it works lol)
- Give myself a chance (Sometimes we can't be so figging hard on ourselves!)
- Don't take over the mission of solving everybody else's problems ( I have enough with my own) (Thanks Shelley!!)
- Other people's expectations are about them, so unless they communicate them to you, you can't do anything about it! (I am obviously not a sky kick!! lol)
- Trust myself, and have faith in my abilities (If I don't trust myself, I don't blame you for not trusting me lol)
- Do things for the RIGHT reason (why do I always say yes to everything!!! Back to the fact that I need to take my time lol)
- I am still learning everyday (when you don't know the answer, stick to what you know, or just say you don't know!)
- Do the best I can, with the information and knowledge I have.
- Be compassionate of other people, but you can't help them, unless they are willing to be helped!! ( Thanks Jennifer!!!)
- Stay away from DRAMA (and don't create any lol)
On that note my friends, have a good week!!!
Ciao!!
Véro
