Kill the lights….


That's what they were trying to do. It is what happened to those folks. Yes the ones. They were trying kill the lights of humanity.

The ones that accomplished and did those gestures and actions that are so cruel and took away so many innocent lives.

Innocent lives. Innocents people. Innocents mothers. Innocents fathers. Innocents Brothers. Innocents Sisters. Innocents habitants of this beautiful planet.

Nothing can bring them back. Nothing can change what happened.

All we have, is what is next and how we choose to move forward.

The human beings that decided that this was their purpose, their mandate to accomplish, their lights were gone. They did not see any other avenues, they had been influenced so much, that they felt that it was their duty to accomplish.

What can bring a human being to that point? What type of world are those human beings living into, that it would bring them to do such terrible actions. I can't explain it. I can't make sense of it. All I can think, is that they haven't been as fortunate as we are; to live in a country where we have the freedom of life and expression; to be whatever we want to be.

It is not an excuse. It is not a reason. It still doesn't make it right, because we all deserve. We all deserve a chance at life. We all deserve the right to live our lives, the way we want to live them.

The truth is, we still struggle as a world society to progress. To progress to the next level, where everyone has a right. Regardless of gender, regardless of nationality, regardless of age, regardless of religion, regardless of EVERYTHING.

You have the right to be ANGRY because YES, IT IS NOT FAIR. It was NOT fair that those people were killed. It is still NOT fair that people are still dying everyday because of hunger. It is NOT fair that people are dying of cancer. It is NOT FAIR.

I do believe we have to FIGHT. Maybe not by causing anymore wars, or by bombarding the enemies. I do think we need to control some of the situations, but I think we need to think of a bigger picture.

I don't have the solution to this question, but I will do my part. By handing a helping hand to someone in need, by trying not to judge someone based on their situation, gender or religion.

We need to live on this hearth with bigger expectations. Bigger expectations for our own self, our community, our society. I need to BE a BETTER person. I need to be a more responsible person to the rest of HUMANITY, our planet, our community.

At least, it's where I am going to start, by lighting back my own light…

The first snow flake, slow times

The first snow flakes are falling from the sky.  For some folks, it’s the first time of a long winter ahead. For others, it’s a sign of nature. A reminder that everything in life needs to slow down at some point, to regenerate itself.  We’ve all had to slow down to some degree in this past year. Slow down from this rat race that can sometimes become life. Normally we need to schedule time in our life to slow down. We plan this grand vacation, to go lay down on a beach, or to travel to a country that we’ve never been. We set our sights on this reward, and it encourages us to keep going and keep pushing in the day to day, thinking that « yes! Only a few weeks lefts before.... » to motivate ourselves that we will finally be able to get a breather. To breathe, to slow down, to enjoy the moment and admire all that surrounds us.
